" Henricci" Looking for Information on this person

I believe that he " Henricci " once owned my BMW ALPINA 2002 race car. I know that I have seen that name somewhere but can not seem to recall and all searches I have done so far have brought zip. Allegedly competed in Hillclimb events? Any information would be appreciated.

Günther Hennerici perhaps? Boss of Eifelland Caravans, sponsors of the Eifelland 21, based on a March 721 chassis. Previously ran in F3. He sold Eifelland and - I believe - founded another caravan company called Rheinland. Info from a source indicates he died around 2001.

A search under "Hennerici" in 'another place' will reveal some details about him - he had only one arm and was apparently a more than useful driver of what must be your 2002.

Hennerici

I will start searching his name - that must be it. My car was the 2002 ALPINA raced as a factory team in 1974 and 1975 (primarily DRM races and a few ETCC races, ADAC 1000km and a few 6 hr endurance races as well). White with red stripes ("Langnese") in 1974 then changed to black in 1975 with the ALPINA green/blue stripes. In 1975 they suggest they sold the car "to an Italian named Henericci <hennerici?> who raced the car in mountain hillclimb events...sold to someone after that and someone else then to me. Thought it would be interesting to track down this fellow and perhaps find out what he did witht he car.

Hi, I think there are currently two Hennericis racing in Germany in Porsches'. Last year Marc raced in the World Touring Car series in a BMW and I think this year may be racing in the Langstrecken cup series held at the Nurburgring. They could be related to the guy you are searching for? There is a website, just type Marc Hennerici into Google and it is the first entry. There are contact details on the site.Hope this helps.Ian.

Don’t confuse Heinz Hennerici and Günther Hennerici who – as far as I know - were brothers.

Günther Hennerici was the one of Eiffelland fame who in 1979 married German lady racer Hannelore Werner.

Heinz Hennerici was the racer without his left arm. Something about his job as an instructor on the old Nürburgring in later days can be found here.

Touring Car driver Marc Hennerici is the grandson of Heinz (so he should be the grandnephew of Günther).

74fuely,
You should look on this Italian Forum www.cronoscalate.it/forum & click on `Storiche` & scroll down & you will find a thread where they are discussing BMW 2002`s used in hillclimbs & mention Trento Bordone.
I have raced against Marc Hennerici in Germany this year, I am sure it would be possible to get a contact for him if you need it.

Alex.
