Brabham BT35 FB/Formula 3 cars
I own, race, and restore 5 Brabham BT35 FB cars.
Three of them have been raced at Vintage Race events throughout the US, mainly with SVRA wherein Geoff Brabham from Surfers Paradise, Australia/Indianapolis has been driving one of my cars with me at these events. Geoff is the son of Sir Jack Brabham and an accomplished racer in his own right. In 2015 he came out of a 16 year retirement and started Vintage racing with me. The cars that I own, race, and restore are: *BT35-20 AM 71-29 Car #2 which I primarily drive (has FIA papers) *BT35-26 AM 71-37 Car #6 which Geoff & I drive *BT35-19 AM 71-23 CL Car #10 which I drive *BT35-31 AM 71-44 Car #83 which has just been restored with Geoff driving at the SVRA Vintage Indy Brickyard race Jun 13-17, 2018 *BT35-32 AM 71-43 Waiting for restoration. The BT35-20 & 26 cars were Torsten Palm F3 team cars in Sweeden. The other three were imported by Fred Opert Racing and sold to drivers in the Continental FB series. I will try and figure out how to post pictures and get them on. Ron Hornig |
