*anorak* the wheelbase of a long and extra long Sprinter are the same, it is an increased rear overhang that makes the extra long. The 3665mm wheelbase is the medium. There is a short wheelbase (3250mm WB), but that is rarely seen. The ones you normally see are either medium or long.

That’s all 2006 onwards, pre 2006 were slightly different and there wasn’t an extra long. Although I think it might have changed with the latest 2019 model, but I’d moved by then and you don’t get them over here really.

How is that several other series in the world get this right and F1 still rewards drivers like this.
