Brock to own Kmart Racing?

We all know this story too Im sure...

But, if TEGA bends against the Kelly's owning Kmart Racing in favor of Brock, it will no doubt spell the end of the Weel / Brock deal.

IF it all goes this way we will see TEAM BROCK KMART RACING, but what of Paul Weel Racing..? Will Betta Electrical hang around, will Bright hang around, will the team remain part of the Symbol 6-car team or be left high and dry by HRT(O)?

I still don't see why TEGA should be able to tell the Kelly's they can't own the team....especially as the previous owners have approved them

I must admit, I do find it hard to believe that if the buyer has the finance, and the seller is happy to sell it to them, why they should be told that they connot go ahead with it.

The whole situation is becoming a joke.

This isn't about team ownership and motor racing any more - it's more about who can fix what and how things can be manipulated.

I just think that it's sad that the racing is no longer what we talk about.

Too true, but this is easily the worst season in memory for this stuff... way worse than any F1 team... there is hardly a team in pitlane untouched by this franchise ownership mess....

But is there any suggesiton it is going to get any better?

IMHO what we are seeing is the start of the categories self-destruction. Infighting, bickering, political games - all that will end up happening is that history will simply repeat itself. After all - look what happened with TOCA and O'Reilly - and now he is in charge of TEGA - is there any reason to believe his magic touch won't affect TEGA as well?

I am ever hopeful that if the current round of buys and sells gets finished, the franchises should remain particularly static. At least in the short term.

With these internationals coming in, like 888-Briggs, perhaps we are yet to see all there is to see......
