I doubt they will be involved in the building of a GT3 car at the same time as a BTCC car. It takes massive resources and manufacturer help to get through the homologation process.
Anyway, go build that Skoda thing, it looks decent |

If it ends up anything like the god awful televised single seater "races" or more like processions !! ( using fancy coloured milk floats). God help us if ever happens , and I will never know either way, as I will not ever watch any of the races !!!. |

At Silverstone for TCR UK, speaking to the guys running the Lynk & Co, a reckoning that Senna Proctor and Jade Edwards were looking at a drive there for this season, with Proctor possibly looking at something again next year, but, after the rumour over the Cook cash thing, one of the guys reckons that a company that Cook owns, that is being liquidated, owes the main sponsor of Edwards, K9, over £120,000, wich has been the sticking point to her main backer getting back onboard in either TCR or BTCC this season.
Speaking to Turks, he seems like he wants to come back next year, but it seems like, as you'd expect, the prices for all the drives are going up. That also seems the case at PMR according to Doble Sr too. |

This just in from Scott Sumpton -
A Farewell to Restart Racing It is with regret that, after two incredible seasons with Restart Racing, the time has come for me to move on. This journey has been filled with highs, lows, unforgettable moments, and memories that I will always cherish. I feel truly fortunate to have raced for such an outstanding team. I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Restart Racing for their great support over the past couple of years. In particular, my deepest gratitude goes to Ben Taylor for his belief in me and for giving me the incredible opportunity to compete in the BTCC, one of the greatest championships in the world. It’s an experience I will never forget. While this is the end of one chapter, I’m ready to come back stronger next year. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of my journey so far—your support means the world to me. Watch this space—big things are coming. |

Sumpton out at Restart is something I didn't expect. I thought although he'd been off the pace a bit that he'd stay around. Wonder if he'll stay in the series somewhere else or go elsewhere entirely?
Budgets for seats going up doesn't surprise me at all, will be very interesting to see if extra cars do materialise. |

Sounds like’s he got the money behind him, but not sure I can see him being picked up by any of the ‘top’ teams. Right then - who’ll be replacing him at Restart next year? |

I know Restart are after DeLeon, can't see him leaving Un-Limited to go to an arguably weaker car though.

I can’t remember exactly, but wasn’t there talk of DeLeon’s father owning the car or having the team as a way of paying off HARD’s debts? In any case it seemed to me like he was tied to the team for the moment, so maybe we need an insider update on what that situation is like now! |

Daryl got a cheap drive this year because of money owed by Gilham, although after Edwards' departure halfway through last year Daryl also got a cheap drive because of money owed by Gilham... I don't have much info on Un-Limited but it seems to be a happy camp at the moment, the car has been reliable and Daryl has had some decent results so you'd imagine he'll continue next year. I don't believe Daryl's dad owns the car or team but he's invested a fair bit into it this year.

The one furthest from camera is DeLeon's car from 2024 (WPMS-NGTC-077).
The middle one is the car DeLeon drove at the end of 2023 (WPMS-NGTC-082). The one closest to camera I can't identify, but isn't NGTC. It's got a BRSCC sticker so some sort of club saloons series. |

That would be quite interesting. I wouldn't be overly surprised if Huff is the only current driver that stays at Speedworks for next season. Not sure how tied Cooky is to Moffat bringing Euro Car Parts as a sponsor.

May be one to watch, but MB Partners have just announced LKQ Euro Parts as a Partner going forward. Could we see a change in sponsorship or supported driver(s) for next season?

They seem to have a record of "taking" Moffat's sponsors if LKQ do move to MB partners
