It was a racing accident, although i do think that maybe Rafe should have conceded the corner.

Frank and Patrick. They allowed.. no, they encouraged the ego's of the 2 to develop that way. It's good plan to increase the competition spirit, but that's gone too far. Immediate actions should be taken.

I have to agree with Red; Frank & Patrick have let this go to far. I think back in France last year when Ralf had his BS radio problems, that they should have been sat down and reprimanded. Racing each other is fine, but on the track they are a team. Montoya had Ralf beaten, Ralf should have backed out and lived to fight another day.

Someone should make Ralf sit down and write 1,000 times in his best handwriting, "My name is Ralf. My name is not Michael. When I hit my teammate I will be punished."
Ralf is trying too hard and under the delusion that the name "Schumacher" means he holds an automatic Let Me By Card. How many times does he have to be shown that this is not the case? He has been told in public that JPM is the lead driver and if there were to be any team orders, they would be in favour of his teammate. Short of making him hold a sign that says "I'm No. 2" I don't know what more his bosses can be expected to do. |

Montoya tries too hard as well under the delusion that if the media calls him the savior of the universe automatically he wins races. Trouble is that Williams staff encourage both tendencies. That does good to noone; other than McLaren and Ferrari.

It was a racing incident, but more through the stupidity of Ralf.

the answer is 2 different options in the poll :
It was a racing incident .......but the incident was caused by ralf losing control of his car . |

No u are wrong.
Ralf lost control when he touched Montoya, Montoya was on the inside and ralf should have let him go, (shows u the intelligents of ralf) |

I think it was exciting, shame it happened so soon, but it was ralf fault - he Lost the back end and ruined both their races.
I can see why he didn't want to conceed there though, getting done round the outside by your team mate would have made him look ****. as it stands he just looks stupid which is probably marginally better. |

well, yes of course they did. When ralf came on the outside of montoya they touched, ralf hit montoyas tyre and took both out. (that's how i saw it happen, I may be wrong..)

Ripper.....dont take this the wrong way....but you are wrong....they only made contact after Ralf lost the rear and spun nearly backwards into Montoya . They actually had about a cars width between them
Ralf was on the inside , and Juan was on the outside . |

Sato is right.
And Williams are famous for letting the drivers race each other...so Frank and Patrick fault. |

I had already posted elsewhere: this was an occasion to establish the pecking order in Williams and Ralf didn't want to concede his territorial claims to JPM.

It was not Michael's, that's for sure. He was AHEAD of them...
However I heard that he hired an alien to hide on a grassy knoll.... |

!JOKE ALERT!
Red, it wasn't an alien, you couldn't be more wrong, it was a KGB agent. I go with Sato san. Didn't everyone have the good pictures? (I thought we all had the digital feed for the last race - well the US and the UK?) Having said that Sonic was shouting about how it was Montoya's fault, but I don't think he had realised that Montoya was so far ahead into the braking area and corner. He changed his mind after the side on replay. I think Ben realised fromt eh begining, but took pity on John and eased it the other way. |
