April Social Evening
Once again the April Social Evening will be on Tuesday 5th in The White Horse in Silverstone village and will start at 8pm. Our speakers this month will be Nick Mason and Mark Hales.

Of course there are others going, normal turn out is about 30 people. We will speak to the pub and try and arrange some out of date food for you Dave !!!

Wow, 51 people turned out to see the Nick & Mark double act, and we certainly weren't disappointed. There was an element of innocence about both of them which I found really refreshing, a cracking night.

It was an excellent evening last night. It was certainly worth the early start to try to make it back to my desk before colleagues realised I wasn't there.
Now the only question is how do I manage to redirect the narrowboat I'll be on when Martin Brundle, hopefully, is the next speaker ? Any approximations for the likely time it will take to get from the Shropshire Union to the Grand Union as near to Silverstone as possible travelling only under the cover of darkness and without the other crew members noticing ?
