Golden Helmet
I thought the whole point of the Golden Helmet race at the start of the season was that the winner won a golden helmet to wear for the season, thus making this driver stand out from the rest as the one to watch for the season ahead.
Ive been following Peter's progress throughout the season and he has been the one to watch forsure. This has been because of his great drives up and down the country not because of a big shinny gold lid on his head. Can anybody inform me as to why the BRDC Golden Race winner dosn't have a golden helmet?? |

I'll ask our Peter Dempsey correspondent what he knows about it! I have a feeling he was due to be presented with it in the NI round at Silverstone last month, but I don't remember that happening.

We hope to recieve it after the Silverstone GP !! That is if it arrives back from the Moon on time, as somebody on the Moon is painting it and it takes a long time for the paint to dry, never mind the delivery time !!!
