The English language translation does the race title no favours!

"DIX MILLE TOURS" sounds so much better......

Seems a popular and well supported event from feedback. Being weekend before Jerez and two weeks before Portimao makes the logistics difficult. Another for the wish list at the moment.....

Thanks Peter! Peter Auto's meeting at Castellet or Paul Ricard if you prefer is a normal PA historic race meeting, with I believe Carol Spagg's series joining in 2014. Race for your Rover there as well.......

Le Castellet historic racing

2013 edition was much better than the previous year and it has been always a valid historic meeting with great cars and action. Definitely a
good venue for drivers and spectators. PeterAuto is doing a great job.

Patrick Peter events are among the best organised in Europe so it is no surprise that the Ricard races are placed so highly in calendar. We did one four years ago and it's superb.

Half the distance to South of Iberian peninsular.

Having raced at Ricard for first time at the other non PA (poorly supported) meeting in 2013, I would have no hesitation going back. The facilities are superb, the circuit staff friendly and welcoming, and circuit itself very challenging. With no scenery to speak of adjacent to the track and lots of run off it was more like a 5.8km go-kart track, and took some learning! Castellet town is special (if a bit touristy) and you are in the S of France- proper!
