Indeed. Sally B and Ferocious Frankie, to start with! (Got to love American fighter and bomber names...) The last pic is the Vickers Vimy replica that repeated some of the original’s amazing flights. Now at Brooklands museum, and pictured at Goodwood Revival. I was there to see it.

Edit, interesting factoid regarding the replica Vimy- first fitted with NASCAR V8 engines, then BMW V12s! The last Orenda fitment is a bespoke V8 aero engine. Cool....

Post 481 takes me back to my ATC days, picture 3, Curtiss P40 Warhawk & 5 is 4 x Yak 50's.

Just to fill in the missing plane- pic 4 is pretty recognisable as a Spitfire, according to the Warbirds Registry a Mk IXe, but can’t tell if it’s showing an American or British registration in that pic. Seems to have had several owners both sides of the pond since restoration!

It is in Briitish markings and at Goodwood so fairly certain it will be British registered.

It is a Supermarine that was certainly registered in the USA up until at least the 2000s. It's history shows that during it's lifetime a lot of it's components were removed to be used for the restoration of other airframes, before it itself went through a complete restoration in the UK in the 1990s. It then went to the States, returning to the UK for repairs after a landing prang, after which it was shipped back to the States; it's history thereafter not found by me.

In the picture it was carying the British military serial PL344 which also converts to the current British Civil registration of G IXCC.

The Yellow Elva in Bob's latest set is quite ugly.
