My vote goes to Memo! I just think he is hungrier than Bruno. Bruno has been a disappointment overall, what with his F3000 credentials and all.
I wonder how his sub-par performance in CART will affect his F1 aspirations. |

You know, I think Bruno has done an aceptable job. The Ganassi package this year has harldy been brilliant, yet he has always been within reach of his teammate, except for a few occasions. Not having an American backround has not helped, as obviously having to learn the tracks is going to slow you down. Overall, he's certainly done a decent job in my eyes.

I can't decide!!!!
Memo has been very good since stepping in at Portland. But, I feel Bruno has done a top job too. I feel Bruno may have suffered a little from following Montoya. Everyone was expecting JPM II. When this didn't happen, they were disappointed. People seemed to forget that Montoya was an exceptional talent. With the difficulties he has had (new cars, new culture, new tracks, these oval thingys), I reckon he's done alright. To qualify on pole in his first oval race ever is pretty special. I'd hate to be the one to choose. Whoever doesn't get it, I hope gets another good drive. |

Why doesn't Chip "scout" another champion from outside of Cart?.He's very good at it.

Bruno! Although P&P prayed long and loudly for him to lose to Mikey, Bruno drove brilliantly and he won his first race much sooner than (for example) Christian Fittipaldi won HIS first race - and he deserved to win and he certainly deserves to keep his seat.
I am very glad Memo survived with only bruised knees and a broken arm. But I don't want him to take that seat next year. |

The CART commentators I listened to for todays race suggested that Scott Dixon may be put into the second Target seat alongside Brack. This they believed was due to the fact that Toyota and Pacwest resolved there contractual dispute by Dixon being contracted to Toyota for the future
Just rumours maybe and after Bruno's great drive today who knows... |

I can't decide either! (So therefore haven't voted!) I agree with Mac, I hope both Bruno and Memo get decent seats next year.

Why not Jimmy Vasser, Ganassi got rid of him unfairly i think last year and they raced together at the Indy 500, showing they still get on, and Vasser has had good results this year in an under funded car, he could fit in well with Brack.

Jimmy Vasser has no money and no sponsors. Why should Ganassi bother with him? Been there, done that.

I think the fight for that second seat is between Junqueira and Dixon. But who knows what will happen, junqueira could return to F1, but the most realistic option for him is to stay at CART. After his run at road-america he can be calmed for a while. I don`t think pacwest have enough will and enough money to keep Dixon next year, so if he does not end at TCGR, where will it be?

I hear they may run a second car at Herdez Bettenhausen.
And the Rahal camp is hiring. And if Zanardi leaves Mo Nunn, there's another seat. I'd bet that no matter who Chip takes, both Bruno and Memo will have CART rides for next year. Is Servia under contract yet for next season? I think he's a race-winner waiting for a race to win. |

There is no chance of this happening, but I'd love to see Zanardi back in the Target car. I still think he has more talent than anyone else in CART, and the combo of he and Brack would make a CART superteam.

If Alex stay's, what he should, he will drive for Mo Nunn.
But for Memo and sponsors, best combination could be: Memo Gidley- Target car or Memo Gidley- Miller Lite car. |
