F1 third driver rule

Hi. Can anyone tell me what the third driver rule is for 2006? Will every team have one at GP's? Thanks

To my knowledge it stays the same as this year i.e.the bottom six teams can run a third car on Friday. There as been much talk of abolishing the rule, but as ever it is only talk.It seems at the moment that Maclaren,Renault,Ferrari and Toyota will miss out on third cars next season.

I suspect it will be changed to allow every team to run a third car, but it remains to be seen.

SpawnyWhippet has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I would be quite happy to allow the bottom 4 teams next year to race their 3rd drivers as well, albeit scoring only drivers points, not constructors points. It will give more drivers race experience, fuller grids and less of the '16 cars at the front and 4 cars half a lap down at the back' nonsense.
