2007 V8 Concept Liveries

I found some time from school and house work and solving some pc problems with 2006 Nortons, I made up a Team Betta/888 car for the '07 series. I thought Lowndes and Ford are national icons I put some GT and GTHO 60's and 70's stripes. Here it is the livery;

bit early for this sorta stuff aint it? A couple weeks ago there was still speculation over 2006 liveries.

But what youve done is a bit basic aint it? Especially with 888's tendancies to go crazy with masking tape

LOL. nice mate. I still got the L plates if you know what I mean. My father suggested the side stripes. Anyway, I am still learning and hopefully I can get a seat for Graphic Design at TAFE. I thought, Triple 8 has had the shattered effect for 3 years now and I thought something bold and fresh. I'll keep on plugging away with the liveries. If anyone else wants to post some of their own liveries, don't be scared, we won't crtisise you.

No Offence Greg,
Your Dodo Racing livery is great but the livery you did for Shayne Blacklock Racing/555 Racing/Amaze Concepts Racing was pretty ordenary and you use the same concept for everthing (But I cant talk !LOL! )

IMHO the Triple Eight design has been a bit noisy and complicated.

My idea is for the livery to be much, much simpler than it currently is.

P.S.
Greg, if you want to do anything seriously graphic design wise, you need to step it up a little. No more templates, draw your own. Get creative. Stripes used by FPV today arent creative.

The 'I'm still learning' line won't last either. I'm a teen too.

Good point about the more interest in racing than next years liveries that was there before. But I think FPR look terrible, therefore I've decided to fix a few things about them . Car #5 as it should be: driven by Mr. Seton, and have put FTR style numbers to give a semblence of heritage for the team. And why not copy Jack Daniels and HRT with their mono-tone liverys?

I don't have the luxury of having Adobe Photoshop or Jasc Paint Pro. I still use Windows XP Paint and it is a lot of guess work involved and I find it really hard to do 3D stuff because I do not have Adobe or Jasc.

Not to bad but I think they still need abit more colour, abit of yellow on the Cat car and a bit of red on the FPV car, maybe a lighter blue as well.

The full one of photoshop is like 2 grand isn't it?

I had a crack at HRT, let's hope they get more creative next year, probably they won't be really busy though.
