Yes - that is exactly what I linked in my post. And if you read what is there you will see that there are two options for the scenario you propose:

Option One:
-Fixed price processing/arrangement fee of £240+VAT
-Refundable deposit of 40% of the vehicle’s value (typically £240k for 3x NGTC cars)

Option Two:
-Fixed price processing/arrangement fee of £240+VAT
-Non-refundable insurance premium to cover the 40% proportion of the premium (typically £1,728 for 3x NGTC cars for up to 2 months)

Option One - total cost £240 (once deposit is refunded)
Option Two - total cost £1,968

So yes - there is an additional cost, but it is minor compared to the rest of the costs of testing overseas. I'm not saying I expect to see any overseas testing this year, but that is a result of COVID restrictions, not Brexit. Unless I have missed any other additional costs as a result of Brexit?

Maybe Buttons GT team could do with some expert input. They seem to think Brexit - plus Covid - makes it all too hard

Note they were thinking of the whole season in the DTM - it means 9 race weekends in which crossing the Channel and dealing with Brexit difficulties is way tougher. One journey overseas for testing seems less painful.

Yeah I know, but from what you can see it looks like it'll be mostly white like last year. I understand the logistics behind liveries, it's just dull seeing a grid of white cars. Especially when MB has blue, red and gold as their colour scheme, I would hope for something a little more 'inventive'

Have the 'teasers' in any way confirmed that white will be the majority (or even base) colour of the final livery - or is it an assumption from what has been put out so far.

The coverage I have seen so far has presented the car(s) in a white colour, but with no commitment to that being part of the final livery. MB previously stated:
'Blue Square branding will once again feature prominently on the team’s Ford Focus ST’s over the coming year, with plans coming together between the two organisations for an exciting full livery reveal in the coming months.'

Current brands within the Blue Square portfolio include Samsung, HP, Selfridges, Dixons Carphone, Harrods, ABInBev, HSBC, valspar and Virgin Media. Any or all of those brands could contribute their colour-scheme to the eventual liveries that the car runs during the season.

More likely they will do the same as last year and run with a generic white livery, then rotate the door/bonnet logos to a different brand every few races.

Agreed - that's probably the likely route they'll take, and if it funds cars on the grid then why complain?

It would be interesting to see the entire car change colour between rounds though.

Black seems to be fashionable but we still don't know how Dynamics car will look like and Motorbase also didn't show its livery as far as I'm aware?

Just the two BMW squads and Nic's Cupra (black with white or white with black?) have announced a back livery (for now). Pretty much every car on the grid is black under the wrap.

It's got an alright look to it. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it should stand out a bit. Nice to see more liveries come out
