Rod nash racing

Ive been meaning to post this for a while now ...but what has happened to Rod nash's repco and autopro sponsorship ???

the car look great in previous years and now Longhurst is driving around in a plain red car.


anybody know the story there ???

philneast should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Gary Rogers now has substantial repco sponshorship. They came aboard part the way during last year and the 2001 cars got repco as part of the new colour scheme.

Lack of results maybe? Plus whatever happened to the second car that that was used by Cameron McConville?

The repco one wasnt the auto store as the garry rogers one is, it was repco auto tools which is more a less the same thing. I think Rod Nash were asking $800,000 for one car from auto pro this season, which is not all that good money for little exposure with a back to midfield running team.

And I guess it is a sign of the times that another team can't retain their sponsors . Certainly last year, Rod said that they were going to be the next GRM, but now...

Plus next year they might be losing Longhurst- apparently it is all tied up with Holden, and they are currently getting some form of support from the factory.
