I/m off for the qualifying tomorrow and thought, hey , the Brits from 10/10ths do it,should find out if any of you guys will be there tomorrow .If you feel like a beer and a chat, let me know where you will be and we can meet.

I might go, only live about half hour away in penrith, but i probably won't go if this rain keeps up, been raining for days.

I was thinking the same, then thought, rain means less spectators and maybe easier access to Pits etc etc. Good to see you if you make it racer.

Oran Park is a ***** in the rain. I might head up on Sunday if this damn flu goes away. I live in Wollongong by the way.

Think I might give it a go anyway and 6yes, i have been thinking the last corner onto the straight will be very interesting if wet. The ground is fully soaked by now, does Oran have a drainage problem?

Well my father races at club level so I go to Oran Park a lot and while they've made some big improvements a lot of the spectator areas get really muddy when it rains. If you can get a seat in the grandstand (and you dont mind the sea of bird****) you'll have a great view of the circuit and you'll stay dry.

There will be a conrod.com.au meeting (if people actually turn up) at 12:45pm at the pit side of the grandstand with food in it.

Anyway, to spot me, I will be wearing a black Mark Webber hat and wandering around with my camera the rest of the time.
