Good buy?

Does this kart sound good?
£750
Six sets of tyres
Spare floor pan
Spare pod bar's
Spare axels
2000 Chssis
BT82 40 minutes use after a rebuild
The kart has won three club championships and finished 12th in super one
I'm planning on racing in the BDKC winter and summer series next year.
Good buy? Bargain? Or steer clear?

Reaserched it and the kart aint worth it, the engine is over three years old and has been re built so many times it isn't in the regulations anymore

How do you know, and how do you tell, it has been re-built too many times? and in what way would this engine not be covered in the regulations?

You race TKM's right? Once the engine has been rebuilt a certain number of times, some components can lose size as there constantly cleaned, it's only a tiny bit, but a 3 or 4 year old engine may have that problem or may have not many rebuilds left in it. i got this information from a proffesional rebuilder

I race in TKM since 1991, I do not know much about the engines, I just let my engine builder have then about every 6-8 hours. One of my engine is about 8 years old and has been rebuilt about 14 times and the other about 4 years has been rebuilt about 7 times. Neither has any problems and both are race legal. Whether some engine builders hone the cylinder more than other I do not know, this might make a difference.

My understanding is that even when the engine has been rebuilt and has the largest piston already fitted that this engine can have a new sleeve fitted. I would assume that this is expensive and I would not want to buy an engine is this was near to be needing doing.
