Sandown - Wet....just how wet
Came across these two contrasting images from Sandown - so - was it wet or very wet?

come to think of it the Ozemail team have had a black cloud hanging over them most of the year havent they ? |

Won't answer the second question (as I don't know) - re the pics - I have a number of images from various races this year - have a look at photos.racetime.com.au as well for others available.

The pics on RT's site are larger and of higher resolution than the ones off the official one. Very nice indeed

If Ford are nice enough to share their official pictures, RT is doing us a good service in clogging up his webspace and allowing the masses the ability to look at them

I would like to be able to also provide Holden shots - but, unfortunately, none of the teams seems to want to provide them
So - open offer - if anyone has contacts within a Holden team - please - get them to get in touch with me so I can balance out the offerings... |

I'm not sure I like that Ford photo RaceTime (and not just 'cause I'm a Holden fan), somehow Team Speedy Thexton's invite seems to have got lost in the mail
 But anyway, don't the rest of them look ever so smart, though the photographer could have dealt with the height thing better

As a group shot I think it is quote a good shot really - ecept - they should NOT have put Bargs in the back row!
 (sorry Jason....don;t abuse me or I might have to publish a shot of you in a Ute at Hidden Valley a couple of years ago - emerging from a cloud of smoke!!!!!)

I just watched the last half of the race again, and the footage is incredible isn't it.With the amount of ice/slurry on the road it's a wonder they were able to continue at all. The other thing that stood out would have to be Matty White trying to be Rove. Unfortunately neither of them are particular good at being funny, especially Mr White.
His fopar for the day, while looking at Owen Kelly was to say, " That's a BA BOAT! " . Thankfully Crompton and Oastler both acted like he hadn't said a word. :eek If we need a laugh, 10 should employ somebody who is actually funny to commentate, like Uncle Doug.

Hehe - no - and I should have given cvredit for those images which I didn't do - thanks to Ross Cadell for the images - it is actually good to receive some Holden shots (I ahve swags of Ford's....hmmm wonder if this is why the wife is grumbling at me all the time!)

Agree - Dirk does take some fantastic shots.
What I am hoping to do, by the end of the season, is try and put together some of the best shots I can find from the year - there have been some rippers and, have to say it - the one of Steve Ellery at Sandown looking like he was (well he was...) skating on water is one of the best I have seen this year, so far... |
