Guthrie should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2 time CART champion, and winner of the 2003 Indy 500. The world lost a true legend today.

Can’t believe he’s gone so suddenly. He always looked well. 20 years after he won the Indy 500 and his final Indycar. Not just a very talented driver, but always came across as a decent guy. RIP GdF

This just popped up on my YouTube feed. I was at this race all those years ago. It was a sombre affair, coming 11 days after 9/11 and a week after Alex Zanardi's awful crash. RIP Gil.
