BTCC Donington FOOD

I`m up at doni this weekend and was looking to find out if there is anywhere on site where we can get a meal, early evening.
If not is there anything within a reasonable distance.
Wife used to sort out the meals,
But now she has started marshalling.
Which means i`ve lost the cook

Think you can still get dinner in the Redgate bistro! No doubt somebody will confirm.

Many Donny regulars use the Bull at Wilson. About 5 mins from the circuit. Out of the paddock entrance right, then first left into the village.

I'll see you there Gachjoel. There is an excellant fish and chip shop in Melbourne village, about 3 miles from the circuit.

Just to let you know,
we`re gonna be in the caravan,
the tent has been put to rest after the pleasures of the weather at silverstone that weekend.

See you there

I should be there Thursday . Testing on Friday, so a wander around the circuit to watch them is in order, then a visit to the museum in the afternoon.

Changed my mind. Going up Wednesday afternoon then, if security will let me in to paddock 3 campsite? If not, will have to stay outside until they say I can come in. Thinks...... phonecall to Di, that might help.

Might do. You could always pay for a couple of nights at the farmhouse next door, which used to be pretty good value. Good food there too, I recall.

Planning on being there for both days, rang Di on the not race day number and left a message, any one know a number i can get her on during the day?
If so can you pm it to me....Thanks.
Don`t like turning up without tickets, causes problems with security, and as i haven`t spoken to Di im worried she may not have picked up the message.

Cheers Rick.
