Guys has the usual williams late-season resurgence snuck up on us?? No one ever believes it till it happens but Webber's testing times at Monza....well who knows?

No, they can't be faster than the Renaults. Not to mention McLarens. But of course there's always the possibility that both McLarens will have to retire and then maybe someone else could see how the world looks from the podium...

That's a shame..
Bugger a podium, it's time for a win! Renault can have excessive tyre wear and McLaren can rely on their usually design standards of let's trim the part by 25% for the fun of it , delivering a happy 1-2 for the team from Grove. |

I'd be delighted with a nice 2-3 for BMW, if Kimi wins and the other three cars fall to pieces

Back to business, IMO, Williams' apparent excellent pace at Monza is just one more indication of what many members of this forum do not like to hear: Again this year, Williams have a poorly designed car powered by a powerful engine. This has been a constant problem since Newey left.
The pace of the Mclarens is again amazing (i.e. irrespective of the track). What a shame they didn't fix their reliability problems a couple of race earlier as this would have given us an exciting end of season for the WDC title. |

webbers starting early on the qualifying grid cos he didnt complete the last gp, so that could hurt his chances of a podium. that qualifying rule is stupid

with the high speeds, the lack of grip from starting early shouldnt hurt as much hopefully.

BTW Pizzonia will replace Heidfeld this weekend, he is still suffering from his crash during testing.

Nick would have been running early in qualifying anyway, so the only real disadvantage is that Antonio is the less capable driver in theory, If he's fast wnough to get points, who knows what Webber can do? Good laps on Friday aren't always conclusive.

After seeing qualifying today, I think that Jason is fairly safe
