It may be quiet but it does mean the 1:47 has given us over 1:30 of racing rather than the usual 1hr 30 of watching cars in single file at 70mph.

And Gilliland loses the lap, which course means in reality Waltrip loses a lap.

Newman becomes the 5th man to pick up a bonus 5 points as the last to pit.

JPM gains a few positions during pit stops again, up to 27th. Rudd up to 3rd, Sauter 5th. Imagine if Sauter wins. That would possibly be the biggest upset in NASCAR history.

Gilliland briefly regains his lap, a caution right now would suit both him and Riggs.

How the hell do you make so little power from a 6.7 engine?

Gordon is apparently struggling with the tyres a lot, but 32nd is quite dire for him. Very unexpected.

-- Equally as pointless for those keeping up, the "Most laps in the top 10" race is now between the 2 busch brothers, a full 24 laps clear of Newman who isn't in the top 10 right now anyway. |

This is much better. A decent sized lead pack, not before time.
