RB5 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Rally of Germany 2002,Yes or No?

Does the 2002 Championship really need another tarmac event?.Personally i think they should have dropped San Remo or Corsica and not Portugal because these rounds seem to be dominated by specialists who struggle on other surfaces. As a result the title favourites have to fight it out for the minor points.Personally i think 2 tarmac events in a year is sufficient.

There's also the Rally Catalunya in Spain, so Germany will make four tarmac events in the year. Also the Monte has a percentage of tarmac stages, albeit covered in ice & snow at times. (This might be what Dave Richards means about making the WRC more like F1 - so expect the German round to be at Hockenheim or Nurburgring [joke])

I think this one has a lot to do with the organisation in Germany and the lack of in Portugal. The trial event in Germany this year was generally well-received by all concerned in the rally and Portugal this year was run in atrocious conditions and the officialling (from all reports) left a lot to be desired.

Let's just hope that the WRC doesn't turn into another F1. There's already no passing...
