Lizzerd should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hello,
I'm rather new here, but have been lurking around for a while. I tried to attach an image to a post using the UBB code as described with the path on my drive to the image (a JPG) between the codes rather than a URL. I've done it before on another racing forum that uses UBB, but it didn't work here. Either I did something wrong or you have disabled images. Can you help? Thanks.

To add a graphic within your message, just encase the URL of the graphic image as shown in the following example (UBB Code is in red).

In the example above, the UBB Code automatically makes the graphic visible in your message. Note: the "http://" part of the URL is REQUIRED for the [img] code. Also note: some UBB forums may disable the [img] tag support to prevent objectionable images from being viewed.

The difference is that the image is on my hard disk. There is no URL. I tried to surround the path to the picture with the UBB code. Do I need the "http://" part before the "C:\pictures\picturename.jpg"? BTW, all I can see is a picture icon in Crash Test's message.

Lizzerd, you have to upload the picture to a website, yours or that of a friend.
The picture has to have a url.
You cannot link to a picture on your harddrive.

Doh!! that was pretty darn stupid...i just cut and past that from the FAQ.

I wish i could get access to other peoples hard drives over the net...but the problem with that is that the police would consider it to be hacking
