I know Fisi is signed for next year at Renault, but with his dissapointing season and Flavio at the helm you never know what might happen!
No doubt Fisi will remain, but I wouldn't be overly surprised if he didn't last long next season if he continues his form. For Williams, it should be Rosberg IMO. BMW second seat, not sure, but I know who won't be in it. Midland, god only knows. Red Bull Junior, could be any number of drivers, but the smart money is on Speed and Liuzzi of course. |

Isn't Speed already contracted to be the third Red Bull Sr driver next year?

Well he was before the announcement of Minardis sale.
Now Red Bull have a junior team, there will most likely be a shift. |

i wouldn't be surprised if we saw a current test driver/previous driver getting a seat once again (Wurz, De la Rosa, Gené, Zonta....). It also seems that next year we'll have a lot of rookies. |

Kovaleinen would surely make himself available if the Renault seat was up for grabs!
Although now you mention them, I'd love to see De la rosa or Wurz get seats, they really did well standing in for JPM. Gene was always something of a dissapointment and Zonta has had numerous chances, although I think he can cut it given the right opportunity. |

Have I missed something?? I've read rumours that Jean Alesi might become sporting director (or something like that) of a junior McLaren team? What is this junior McLaren team? Is it going to be an F1 team?

I have nothing but the deepest respect for 'old four eyes',but i fear that his insistence on remaining in F1 next year is merely wishful thinking.

"old four eyes"? Never heard that one before. I guess you mean Jacques but what is the origin of this nickname?

Now where have I heard that before? Oh yes 2003, ad nauseum. Hmmm it's 2005 and he remains, and with a signed contract for 2006. |

Please don't start bickering about JV yet again.
Louis, "four-eyes", I am fairly confident, is a reference to the fact JV wears glasses! |

I doubt it was meant as a nasty comment in all honesty.

Good, now that this is sorted, lets stop talking about jacques' glasses before the temptation to close the thread overcomes me.
I believe Fisichella and Jacques will both retain their seats for next year. |
