Ha Instead of focusing on my love life. Why don't you losers tell me how a lightweight of UK/European motorsport becomes a legendary, exalted figure when he doesn't have a direct motor racing skill?
The answer is because there's domestic motorsport in Australia is a lightweight culture, which a lot of you buy into. |

Must be a "lightweight" culture in the UK too - a Mr Ecclestone, with (as you describe it) no direct motor racing skill did alright there, as did Mr Tyrrell, Mr Williams, Mr Walker, Mr Briatore to name just a few.
As Mr Dane is now on the FIA Touring Car Commission, seems to me that he's far from a slouch in regard to the big picture internationally. |

the guy is a troll, he hates that the majority of Australian motorsport fans like V8 Supercar racing.
He dreams of 2ltr 4cylinder taking over, well it has its chance now over on Stan Sport. $100 says that will be a disaster in 12 months. |

Well, considering how many WC winning drivers and teams that come from there, and that racing there has set a foundation for many non-UK drivers to have an international career. Probably not.

Three year plan for the new management at 888 - sounds like it'll be quite a learning curve for J-Dub, although knowing it has been coming, I reckon he would have been getting his head around it more and more during 2021.

888 has a load of work coming up, producing either full chassis or components for probably half the field... no small undertaking... especially when they are still fiddling around with the final spec. And running what seems to be an expensive testing program. Wonder if it will continue during the season, or if its just to drum up interest across the offseason |

Agree GTR - pushing the pedals and running the whole operation are two very different gigs, with the latter involving far, far more work, effort, intelligence and stress. There'll be a lot to learn and a bunch of new experiences - like training in the dark early before work rather than in the sun in the middle of the day as one small example.
He does have the benefit of taking over a very good operation with good people but he'll need to lead, motivate, organise them and think way further ahead than he's used to - not many have successfully transitioned from driving to running the team - it'll be a genuine challenge for him, no doubt about it. |
