Could Rallycross race on off-road tracks such as Crandon?

Just a matter of curiosity, seeing as there is going to be a full length Rallycross championship in America this year, could you run rallycross races at tracks such as Crandon and Chula Vista?

Here's a race around Crandon if you want to know what the track is like.

Looks not bad!

However, for FIA ruled RX events see 'Chapter II Circuits'.

I think rallyx cars could perhaps go to a venue like that but only use obviously the less bumpy parts of th track!

That is a crowd that might be worth pursuing in the name of promotion though.

Mickey Thompson started the while thing off as a stadium sport, that has largely gone now, but that ideal is what rallycross needs and those fans would be receptive to the show element.

What you need is 10 abreast clutch starts, no joker and a few jumps and banked turns!
