Ducati won't get their hands on Valentino for a while. Honda will make sure they keep him by waving millions of yen in front of him. And considering how good the bike is, could you see him leaving? The only reason he'd leave is if he wants that extra challenge of developing a completely new bike.

My bet to take the new bike: Troy Bayliss

Baylsis and Biaggi would be a great team!

Bayliss and Biaggi would make a strong line-up, and considering Biaggi is less than impressed with the latest Yamaha and one gets the feeling he wants to move on, he may chuck it in and take the jump to an Italian marque.

It will be very interesting to see who Ducati choose to ride their new bike.

Why waste your money on Black Flag Biaggi?

People, particularly people within the paddock, actually think Biaggi is good. I'm inclined to agree to an extent, but Checa is certainly out-doing him at the moment on the new bikes.

I reckon it will be Bayliss and Capirossi on the Ducati's, i guess that will leave Bostron & Xaus on the SBK's

Capirossi on the Ducati?

Why do you think that racer?

His name has been mentioned, but if he gets his hands on the Honda four-stroke, IMO he will stay with that.

One rider I would love to have seen on a Ducati four-stroke if he was still around is Luca Cadalora. For me, he was a World Champion in the wrong era. He stuck with Yamaha for too long, and then Mick just dominated and Luca became disheartened and eventually just lost form.

Geez, that's going back a few years now.

Loris would have signed for Ducati to go WSB in 2000 had Honda not said he could ride an NSR. The deal was all done, the only sticking point being Loris's chance to ride an NSR.
I think that he will have remained in contact with the team, especially now that they are going GP.
He is never gonna get a RCV so what is the point in hanging around waiting for Honda when they already have an Italian in the team.
Bayliss and Loris for me aswell racer, if it is anyone else i will eat my hat
