Juat got back from Bramham and Croft, great day I was also in the complex at Croft and there was some great "racing action", Mark Higgins in Brahbam was fantastic very sidways, I also understand he had some brake problems.
Had a quick chat with Steve Perez before the Croft stages he says the Stratos is very titchy, the Wilson's where trying out the Stratos for size before the Croft Stage. The top 10 after in Stage 7 Graystoke looks like this:- Historics 1 Mark Higgins/Peter Martin Ford Escort MK1 RS 1600 0:19:56 2 Jeremy Easson/Alun Cook Ford Escort RS 2000 16V 0:19:58 3 Stig Blomqvist/Ana Goni Ford Escort Mk11 RS 0:19:59 4 Jimmy McRae/Campbell Roy Porsche 911 RS 0:20:05 5 David Stokes/Ian Oakey Ford Escort Mk1 RS 1600 0:20:10 6 Martin Freestone/Joanne Lockwood Ford Escort Mk11 0:20:21 7 Ray Bellm/Patrick Walsh Ford Escort RS 1600 0:20:30 8 Grant Shand/Chris Parsons Ford Escort RS 0:20:30 9 Phil Squires/Michael Squires Ford Escort R 1800 0:20:34 10 Eilir Morris/Phill Clarke Ford Escort RS 2000 0:20:42 Open 1 Steve Bannister/Kevin Rae Ford Escort 0:19:38 2 William Onions/Tim Hobbs Ford Escort 0:20:21 3 Robert Archer/Peter Field Ford Escort MK 2 0:20:33 4 Mad Mick Jones/Andy Morgan Ford Escort 0:20:42 5 Colin Barber/ Martin Barber Vauxhall Astra Sport 0:21:05 6 Dave Hemingway/Jim Plevey Ford Escort 0:21:13 7 Matt Barker/Dave Lucas Peugeot 205 GTI 0:21:15 8 Andy Madge/Pat Cooper Toyota Corolla GT Coupe 0:22:10 9 Austin Mckinlay/Dominic Brown Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI 0:22:25 10 Tony Jardine/Maurice Hamilton Skoda Fabia 0:23:34 Photos to follow later |

I had been to watch the RAC last year, can't remember where, but enjoyed it. Marshalled this year at Greystoke with my college and got absolutely hammered with stones from Stiggy!!
