Yes, obviously. What use are people who cannot communicate with everyone else?
(I'm not saying the Germans in the team can't speak English of course, but then if a team is based in a certain country it's not a stretch to assume that most of their employees will predominantly speak that language)

Anyway not gonna miss name Lotus, done absolutely nothing in LMP for this, the Kodewa P2 project or the Rebellipons.

Odd name choice. Right up there with "LaFerrari". Destined to be a source of ridicule ("LaKolles"?!?!) I would have gone with just "Kolles".

Giba should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The only reason I can think of them being called ByKolles is because they are looking for a title sponsor, similar to Thiriet by TDS racing

When you have a chassis carrying CLM initials that (allegedly) refer to 'Colin Le Mans', you cannot count out that this could be the finalized title... and as always with our weird businessman, expect the unexpected

Agree totally. Never took the "Lotus" branding in LMP seriously in any way at all - thought of both the LMP2 and LMP1 efforts as Kodewas, and to be honest was happier doing that.

ByKolles? Realistic contender for silliest or most head scratching name we've had for a prototype in living memory / ever?

I guess it could be worse... there was joyfully sounding "Ferrari China Team" GT3 that was entered for AsLMS at some point last year before they realized how horrid that sounded and changed the name to Python
