Get some AVO's on it. You could have a new set for what it would cost to recon your current units. They work ont he Swift '92 as well. Gary Jones won Champion of Oulton in a Swift '92 shod with Avo's.

They are effective and although some frown on them due to their price, they work. Formula Fords aren't rocket science, so the shocks don't need to be. I can understand fine tuning shocks if your running wings and slicks to to the forces on the shock created by the wing, but a Formula Ford is not subjected to those forces to the same degree.

I've had them. They do work and they are quite cheap. Plus, you could have several sets by the time you have paid for the likes of Ohlin's.

There must be somebody out their rebuilding Sachs, even if you have to send them to the Fatherland. All personal opinion but I wouldn't put AVOs on the trailer I use for my garden rubbish.

Have you had a personal bad experience with the AVo's John?

Actually I might be getting muddled up with Gaz. Or are they actually the same?

If you can't get Sachs serviced I would think the best bet would be Bilsteins (of which I have a set surplus and available for £100).

Yep, got a pair of 4 way Penskes on there at the moment, although I am thinking of a Monoshock conversion like my wheelie bin. LOL.
