Mark F1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Which driver most deserves an F1 Drive

For me it would have to be Badoer, simply due to his huge amount of experience. He has never had a decent car in which to show his obvious talents. The Scuderia Italia Lola of 1993 was a total disaster, so was Forti in 1996 and it wasn't much better for him in his days at Minardi. If he had a top drive, I think that he would suprise many people. And remember, apart from Sepang & Indianapolis, he has had experience of every other F1 Track on the Calendar.

Augusto Farfus

He blew the Formula Renault Eurocup field apart.

I'm sorry, but since when does blowing Formula Renault apart mean you DESERVE to be in F1?????

Wilson - after his performance in F3000 last season, it's outrageous that he doesn't have an F1 drive.

At the risk of suffering much abuse, I'm going for Oliver Gavin...

Pizzonia had the guts to say no to Briatore for long term contract. Self believe that you don't find in many drivers.

No to Briatore? Just plain sense.

I went for Wurz. Who plainly has no sense, but he's a dude, and I liked his dicing with Schumacher at Monaco - that was impressive.

BURTI.................outqualified ALESI once joining prost, would have done quite well towards the end of the season imo, although, in hindsight, trying to overtake eddie with 2 wheels on the grass at spa, was proberbly not the best overtaking manouvre to attempt!

Yeah it would have to be Wilson for me remarkable performance in f3000 last year he had both pace and consitancy. I would have been more satisfied if he had got the Jordan drive and not Sato.(No ill feelings to Sato.) Its just a shame that the sponsors find him, well a bit dull.

Hmm, guess who i voted for

Though I agree with those people who are saying Wilson, him not getting a seat shows that there is something badly wrong in F1.

I'll be different and say Zonta. Never got a fair crack of the whip at BAR, thanks to JV and Pollock....

He has the credentials worthy of being an F1 driver, but he's probably now missed the boat......

I'd vote others...i think that every true F1 fan who can drive (qualify as a driver?) deserves an opportunity to experience an F1 drive...not for a season...but maybe a couple of laps...even if we have to pay for it.

No? At least a ride in a 2 seater Minardi?? Pleaase!

If you look at the results from this years Eurocup, you will see that Farfus was actually the only driver to compete in all the rounds. The second placed driver missed the final round, while the guy in third missed THREE rounds. Wow, it must feel great to blow apart a field of part-timers.

Marc Benz was 2nd in the series and did all the races.

It was 3rd placed Cesar Campanico who missed 2 races.

This proves you know nothing about the 2001 Eurocup.

i agree with u Mr Hahn, the important thing is what KIMI did last season that counts!!

peter sauber recognised this and snapped kimi up earlier than maybe he should have, but risked the possibility of losing him if he didn't!

Fair enough Hakkiman, you are right, I was looking at the season's results from the Super Racing Weekend website (http://www.superracingweekends.com/EFR2mg/default.htm) where they have put '0' in some places where a driver didn't score and not in others, making it appear they didn't take part.

My point is that winning an entry level slick and wings championship doesn't earn you the right to be in Formula One.

By the way, perhaps you should chose a more apt signature.

NO, its not the reason I went.

The reason I went was to watch the fastest drivers in the world and to try and meet Memo Gidley.
