Ideal driver lineup

Feeling a bit bored today, so wrote a list of who I think should be driving for each team on Sundays. I have tried to exclude unrealistic drivers, i.e. those currently in F1.

AUS Briscoe
BRA Pizzonia
CHN Cheng
FRA Duval
GBR Watts
GER Hulkenberg
INA Ali
IND Chandhok
IRL Carroll
ITA Pantano
KOR Bruins-Choi
LEB Morad
MAL Fauzy
MEX Duran
MON Piccione
NED Doornbos
NZL Bamber
PAK Khan
POR Albuquerque
RSA Zaugg
SUI Jani
USA Summerton

Nico Huelkenberg is a long shot as Herr Weber is no longer with them. I like John Martin in Australia. Funny to watch.

I like the idea of Pantano for Italy. It looks as though the poor guy won't have much else to do.

Bruno Senna for Brazil would be good, but I don't suppose there's any hope of that whilst he's hanging on to the F1 dream by his fingernails.

Zaugg hasn't come on as much as I thought he would so I'd like to see Alan van der Merwe given another shot for South Africa.

John Martin's a really nice guy, but you'd have to think Briscoe would be quicker.

Apart from Pantano, Liuzzi or Rigon wouldn't be bad choices for Italy.

And Rubens Barrichello is available too for Brazil

As for USA, I am still a big fan of Carl Skerlong.

ASRoma should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Quite an interesting post!!!

here is my idea...

AUS Briscoe
BRA Di Grassi (for me he was very impressive in GP2, but I doubt Flavio would let him...)
CHN Cheng
FRA Duval/Prost Jr (Duval is more consistent, Prost has more raw speed but needs experience)
GBR Watts/Jarvis (Oliver was always very good)
GER Hulkenberg
INA Ali
IND Chandhok
IRL Carroll
ITA Pantano/Rigon (Rigon is a greatly underrated talent)
KOR Bruins-Choi
LEB Morad
MAL Fauzy
MEX Duran/Gutierrez
MON Piccione
NED Doornbos/Van Dam (I think Van Dam deserves a shot, but for sure Netherlands has a great pool:Bleekemolen, Van der Zande, etc...)
NZL Bamber/Reid/Van der Drift (Reid did a great job, the two youngsters need more experience...)
PAK Khan
POR Albuquerque
RSA Zaugg
SUI Jani
USA Summerton

Call me stupid but I've always been interested to see how Ralf Schu does for the German car. Not that he'd be a sensation in A1GP, just a curiosity.

Albers showed in the DTM that he is still fast and able to get the most out of a car, unlike, say, Ralf S.

Thats exactly correct. He did an awesome job in the 2 year old audi. Was able to beat the 07 runners on many occasions. Thats why i said he would be really good in A1GP as i believe he deserved better cars in F1 and didn't deserve a better chance.
