snetmarshal should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
BHF at Snet

So who is coming out to play and what toys they bringing with them? Is the 25th year of the event so hoping it should be a good one!

and in case it also took you a few seconds to work out what BHF meant -

The British Heart Foundation Day at Snetterton or how to scare Les silly in a race car

Unsure about the Golf GT car at the moment. I will post when we know more.

Just got back from a wet but thoroughly rewarding day (on Senna Straight); including a nice trip around the circuit in a Mitshubishi Evo. If anyone is contemplating going tomorrow, don't contemplate - go; you have my personal assurance that you'll have a good time no matter what you're doing. Just remember your waterproofs!

A pity about the weather - don't get too wet.

Sorry to say I can't make it and due to a missing fuel pump neither can the golf

What a brilliant weekend, it has been cold, rained non stop and being at the pit lane exit flag post no shelter for the 2 days, but wouldnt have missed it! I think all drivers did a brillant job in such bad conditions & special thanks to the Radical driver who took me round was stunning (including spin at russell) I have even more respect for you guys in open tops now cos I could see virtually nothing when behind another car. From Radical to 2CV everyone looks like they enjoyed themselves and well done to all who took part.

Well done to all who prepared and ran cars at the BHF weekend.

Although a couple of questions come to mind:

1. Were were the works teams ?, it would of been nice to see the teams with big budgets support the event, again it was down to the club racer to put back something into motorsport for both charity and the paying fans.

2. Although I know that kindly Snetterton makes no charge for the use of the circuit and its facilities why can a weekend not be found around the warmer times of the year.

All said it was a very wet but enjoyable weekend and it was a pleasure to see the faces of people climbing from our car and share our love of the cwe own and run.

My brain won the argument of not going both days (my heart won the argument of sparing one day) - so, as I wasn't there on Sunday, could someone please let me know the final total raised?

Smokey 6 litre should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
it was unfortunate that i couln't marshall this event having to work saturday and not getting up till midday on the sunday (it is my only day off you know)

I'd like to say thanks to all those who atteneded, as i was there sunday afternoon.

I also noticed a lack of BIG cars there, no Thurtles or Gerry Marshall, they normally make an apperance, and not many big road cars, no TVR Tuscans or Ceberas...

There were also a few people down there who dont even race, i'd like to mention the man from VR (virtual reality, video games shop) who was down there in his Sierra, which he only uses for trackdays!
