1. You'll need to check with the circuits. I assume RP would let you out at Anglesey pretty much ad hoc.
2. Yes Black Dogs are still going on.

Young Chris,
Where is your respect? If it is genuinely Don Truman - and you can never be certain with screen names on TT - you should refer to him as Mr Truman, or Sir.

For the younger forum members, here is a trivia fact for you :-
On 8th August 1953, the first ever car race at Oulton Park was a heat for the F3 race. The winner was a young whippersnapper from Walsall by the name of Don Truman. I wonder if the Clerk of the Couse that day said at the briefing " ..... and Formula 3, not today please gentlemen"
If it is you Mr Truman, welcome to TT and what does "sticks" mean?

Am I correct in thinking that 'Bluenose'..whilst being impressively quick in a FF1600 has made the biggest impact on his paddock bike.
If I'm wrong I'm sure Diz will put me right...
he usually does.

Honda Melody"s should be restricted to people who can see scaffolding poles in front of their face.

Scaffolding poles when hit with a face still look like scaffolding poles. Faces when hit with scaffolding poles tend to look different.

Diz, I believe that was the REAL Mr D F Truman.

Are any of the NW boys and men coming to our Donington meeting in March?.

It will be a good time to blow off the cobwebs and set some season long targets.

Happy New Year to you all, 2004 will be a great FF1600 year.

Daly,

I plan to do the Donington race as I have not raced at Donny for a while. How do you know the dates? Are the NWFF out yet?

The dates for SoM are nearly confirmed, 11 rounds over 8 race meetings. Starts mid/end of March and finishes early October, (prior to Festival and Walter Hayes). John Ward has been working into the dark hours trying to ensure that we have zero clashes. Dates will be confirmed at Autosport Show.

It will be great to race at a mixture of SoM and NW events where possible. (sorry, and Coombe and South also)

I would like to come to Oulton this year...and bring a race car with me. Diz, do I need to bring my own tea or can I share at the NWFF1600 Paddock Coffee Bar?

You would be very welcome Peter. It looks like the regional drivers are more willing to mix and match in 2004 - pause while Steve Burns pats himself on the head - with Red wanting to do DP and Darcym and Mattray wanting to do OP with yourself. As for NW dates, I will post them here as soon as I get them from John Ward. I am not pestering him this year, as every year I get "provisional dates", which always change.

Fantastic. A nice compact season to keep her indoors happy and allow a bit of time for forays elsewhere and some Monoposto too...
