condition to take me on Sunday. So is there anyone from the Redlands area going that I can get a lift with? I will be willing to donate money for fuel and shout the driver in. PM me if you can help. |

Hope the weekend goes well, with a few more entries than the first 2 rounds.
But the constant references to Saillard's "ex FPR BA Falcon" are starting to grate. The car is an ex Glenn Seton AU, reskinned by the Youlden's as a BA 3 seater ride car dressed up in FPR colours, and now converted back to a race car. Not quite an FPR pedigree!! |

This meeting is also a round of the QIPRA Club Championship. I believe the Improved Production guys have their own grid for this.

Knowing how the AMRC operate, they'll probably start up a category for "ex-V8Supercars that were converted to ride cars and then converted back to something else again afterwards"........... |

Why do people continuously bag out alternatives to racing?
Does it seriously bother you that people have an alternative? If it does, mabey you should get out a little more and enjoy life. Like the people who actually own the cars you are complaining about do. They get out and have some fun doing what they enjoy. Racing, making friends, talking shop without too much politics. Be happy, you only live once B24 |

Now the category is made up of a handful of *******ised hacks that don't fit any regulations. Do they even have scrutineering? Are there actual rules anymore? Anyway, that's the connection between the AMRS/C and V8Supercar rules....... |

Suggest you have a look at technical rules
http://www.v8giants.com.au/ There is no mention of 'ex' anything. Like a previous post said 'they are out there doing it'. And they are spending their own money, so if you don't like it ..... tuff ! |

As far as the entire AMRC goes.... Super TT, OzBoss, Protosports, the ATCC and the PCC can hardly scrape a full field together between them....... whilst the “Thundersports” class features no cars greater than 1.0L in capacity! Surely I’m not the only one a little under whelmed........... |

it was a great day out there today, more cars would've been better but the one that turned up put on a great show, thundersports were action packed, even the last race which finished with only four cars runnign was entertaining

Despite the incredibly low fields, there was actually some decent racing... whoda funked that a four car race around QR could be interesting!
The Thundersports were good (especially the last race) and Rod Dawson holding out Darren Saillard for so long was a cracker too... But seriously how long can a series that is attracting such low entry numbers carry on? Some cracking good battles between a group of keen competitors is all very good and well, but it doesn't exactly pay the bills... unless I have been massively misguided on how the economy works... Q. What is Garry Wilmington et al up to these days? |
