Leonardo Pulcini set to race in the GT Open. Team wasn't announced, but I suppose, it's Imperiale Racing. They should have participated in 2020 with Venturini-Pulcini.

Or VSR ? Didn't they win the 2021 title in a Lamborghini?

Yes, they did. It's possible, but it feels like VSR will go to GTWC. Although Pulcini participated in Italian GT together with VSR in 2020.

Team was announced from Lamborghini, please read their Announcement correct. And your wrong with your guess.

"Both drivers will race in the 2022 season with the support of Lamborghini Squadra Corse. Pulcini will make his debut in the International GT Open behind the wheel of the Huracán GT3 EVO #63 of Oregon Team"

Yes, I did not turn to the original source — my fault. It turns out that we have the first official confirmation.

So, it's a two-car programme for Oregon.

Oregon, are that the same guys that used to run an LMP3 Norma in ELMS, and a Renault RS01 in Renault World Series?

The guys with the yellow-pink-green car liveries and the pirates flag on the trailers?

The german Team GT is entering GT Open and want to run two Mercedes-AMG GT3. Bernhard Laber and Alain Valente are the first driver pairing.

Optimum also back with at least one car. The Iribe / Millroy car won’t be back due to the clashes with their full season in IMSA, but we may well see a second car for someone else

A modest start for GT Open so far with 5 cars announced, my hope for this season is we don’t see 3-4 cars fighting PRO and the rest in Pro Am. I’d much rather see a fully pro am field

GT Open 2022 - 5 Cars

Optimum Motorsport - Mclaren 720s GT3 - Joe Osborne / Nick Moss
Oregon Team - Lamborghini Huracan GT3 - Leonardo Pulcini / TBC

There are a few more rumors. For example, the Dutch V8 Racing team with Callaway Corvette GT3 and Nicky Pastorelli. Street art racing received the delivery of an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 to paint the art livery. And the Polish Olimp Sport bought two 488 GT3s, so now they have one Audi, one Mercedes and two Ferraris. As a result, 6 more cars are possible.

A very modest 9 cars announced so far, I think we can probably expect to see in the region of 18-19 GT3’s, as well as the tag along GT Cup class incorporated into the grid

After the relatively unsuccessful year for the reinstalled PRO class last year I expect we will either see only a couple of PRO entries, or none at all

Kessel Racing is going to launch a program with multiple cars or with multiple single entries. If you've read Moss's interview, you know he wants to be in the Pro category, but that would be "Pro." He is gentlemen.

Looks like one more Ferrari to be entered this year, by british FF Corse, which entered, but not raced at Spa last year. It's possible to be Am or Pro-Am car, because they look for gentelmen-drivers.
