Westysprinter should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Croft Easter Monday - road closed

For those heading to Croft for the Sprint on Easter Monday, a sign at the road end cross roads with the chequers says it is closed for the next 3 weeks. Im not sure where along the road to the circuit it will be closed at, but best give yourself an extra 1/2 hour travelling time for detours

Andrea had her first drive of the Westy yesterday as prep for her first sprint, the road was closed but the detour was only 10 mins, if your coming from the south come in from Northallerton and you take the first turn signposted east cowton and follow the diversions. If your coming from Darlington you go past the normal road which is barricaded off and follow the diversion to the previous mentioned junction.

What about those of us coming from the West? Do we have to go via Moulton?

Yep just pick up the B1263 off the A167
Mid you the diversion will be the least of our worries, Snow being the slightly more significant one

As I am travelling over from the West I am planning to turn off A66 at Scotch Corner, into Middleton Tyas, turn South to Moulton and then East at Moulton to the circuit rather than travel round to the A167/B1263 junction.

As for the snow that might be wishful thinking!

Hi

I beleive Terry has spoken to the croft photographer who lives near the circuit and the road will be opened on weekends, only closed monday to friday..

This is why nothing was sent out with the regs for the event

cheers

Will the council treat Easter MONDAY as part of the week-end?
