Russell Ingall

Last year, poor old Russell settled down, and didn't have to sign any blank cheques to give to CAMS over poor driving. What got into him? What was it? And do you prefer the old Russ, who go out there and have a "red hot go", and not back off for anyone, or the SNAG Ingall, who will now button out of it, and save himself the hike up the stairs of the control tower to the stewart's room.

Also, what do you think will happen in the future? He has basically been saying that he could be driving anywhere in the future- but do you think he will really ever leave 'home'?

I think he could very well be on his way when his contract expires. He isn't very ahppy about having to pre-qualify, although i see Larry's logic in doing it.

I didn't mind the old Russell, but with the very strict contact rules these days i am not sure if we will see the old Russell again.

I really do not think he will stay with CPR, that is just my opion though.
The most exciting race was the last one at Sandown last year with Craig and was it Murphy? battling for 1st. We have not seen racing like that for a long time.

Larry is now doing the pre-qualifying after Russell spoke loudly about not wanting to do it.

Maybe if Larry had of discussed it with Russell first instead of the media, he might of been a bit happier doing it. I can't say I am confident of CPR having 3 cars in the 500 now.
