Mary Lindsay should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
1981 Willhire 24 Hours

I was driving Morgan 8A in the early hours of the Sunday morning when a half-shaft broke and the back wheel came off causing the car to do a few aerobatic manoeuvres. It eventually came to rest upside down.
Although I have a few photos of it back on 3 wheels there are none of it inverted. I would very much like to get hold of one or two just for the album. Can anyone out there help?

Hi Mary, unfortunately I don't think that I have any pictures of your acrobatics, but if it's any consolation, do remember witnessing the event.
We were stood in the (extended) pits by the Bulldog Morgan team when it happened, and it were relieved to discover you were OK after the accident...

Hi, how interesting, which team were you with?

I was quite relieved to find I was OK too, it all happened so quickly I didn't have time to panic although the smell of leaking petrol motivated me considerably.
