pink69 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Suzuki have lost the advantage they had this time last year. Either that or Corser is sandbagging. Just wonder if Bayliss can turn his exceptional practice pace into a win this time round. Good to see JT up there again, wasnt sure how he'd fare this early on in the season but I' certianly impressed, long my it continue.

JT is looking way better than he ever did when riding the Ducati .. and that includes winning the championship imho ..
and yes .. Suzuki have lost the advantage .. but they are not behind either ..
Honda Ducati and Suzuki look very even matched .. Yamaha .. 1% behind .. too bad Kawa is way behind ..

I agree. It'll be a stomping race tomorrow.

And what about ol' Zombie? P5 not bad eh? Maybe Max woulda had a chance.

And I'd also like to shout out to everyone's favorite manager Carl Fogarty:

What were you thinking? If the kid writes off McCoy's race bike in testing, surely that was a bad sign...

And good work to the Show: P7, next best Yamaha behind the works boys.

Sports roundup on TV show's Corser falling off and then being hit by Barros in R2. Lucky not to be seriously hurt

Good races, though it's a shame Corser and Bayliss didn't fight it out. After getting a win, a 2nd and two 3rds has JT finally discovered consistancy?

What a difference a year makes for Lanzi. Golden boy last year, could do no wrong. This year, can do nothing right yet. Nowhere! Haven't seen the Corser accident but glad he's ok. Great to see JT doing well again, must be his best start to a WSBK season. Shame Martin coudn't turn his front row spot into somethign better than low point scoring places but didn't expect too much to be honest.

According to my brother who seems to know a bit about Ducatis team structure the reason Lanzi is doing badly this year is because he doesn't have his crew from last year when he subbed for Laconi. This crew as headed up by Ernesto Marinelli who also works as the teams technical director. When Bayliss returned this year he naturally got this crew leaving Lanzi with the other crew, and in bother apparently.

Fair enough really. It's good they are treating Troy as a returning champion. Doesn't appear to be any hard feelings from the MotoGP years. Is Troy's old mechanic still in MotoGP? Or was that Ernesto Marinelli?

As far as I know he didn't take his WSB crew with him, but as he was sacked by Ducati in MotoGP I wouldn't think he had any Ducati people with him at Pons.

I thought he took his WSBK crew to MotoGP, and then took his data engineer to Pons with him. I'm just wondering what happened to them and if they are with him now or with Sete or something.
