Sure, could totally be Pure Mclaren.

Traditionally Pure Mclaren has just used completely spec GT4's (well originally I think they used the 'Sprint' configuration of the 650s, which was sort of in between GT4 and GT3).

This looks like a step up from the GT4 Artura they have already showcased (basing that soleyl on the fact the wing is double the size).

Maybe, its a GT2 car for the European GT2 Series, but they may also use it as a replacement for the 570s GT4 in the one make Pure Mclaren series.

Interesting indeed... Either way, its a new race car, so all is good in the world.

Sorry Bcarr6, didnt see your earlier post about the car under a cover with a huge rear wing. Was responding to the earlier post about the "Mclaren Challenge" Livery.

As for the mystery car i think you could well be right. Unless its a special edition track car like the P1 GTR or something but then if you are going to go down that route again why not make it to GT2 spec anyway?

Track focused car is a good possibility, the only thing that potentially refutes that is the fact the McLaren Customer Racing account posted it, whereas McLaren Auto didn’t.

And it was promptly reposted by all the McLaren Factory racing drivers

We shall find out today anyway
