Spanish Grand Prix 2014
I'll throw this together as no one's set one up just yet, and we've already had the first free practice sessions..

Looks like it'll be another 2 car race with both of the Mercedes way out ahead but at least half a second.

The car broke a few laps into Friday P1.
No more running so its not a driver problem.
He didn't get to set a time at all in P2... That's an RBR problem... so its RBR who would be lacklustre..

The a Mercedes looks pretty good through the last corner, compared to the others. Unlike the Ferrari

Certain close up shots of the Force India mean I can pretend it's an Arrows

Why can't they get rid of that yucky green, orange and white, and just make the whole damn thing black with orange trim?

I wonder if the reason we don't have black cars now is something to do with attracting higher temperatures..?

Someone in the Vettel camp is lacklustre then.

No problem, mate. Honestly, it's no good in comparison to frostie or 123Go, but still, it's something!

I don't think there's a tremendous amount to talk about when it's one team so far ahead, to be brutally honest!

Frostie is writing for a local paper, I believe. That was about a year ago, anyway. I remember him saying he wouldn't be doing the previews as much anymore.

Hence why there's details of IndyCar there, too...

New Indianapolis track. Looks really cool other than the horrible end chicane that's put there for seemingly no reason at all. Also, the lack of banking is pretty upsetting.

Sad but true - amazing that a track can last so long with so few good races.

Perez is complaining about the lack of gap between F1 and GP2 speeds - he blames conservative tyre compounds but Pirelli disagree.

So F1's finally back in Europe; no more getting up on Sunday morning at ridiculous hours.

Glancing at the practice sessions, it looks like Merc and Lewis have it, potentially. It was a surprise to see Vettel down at 20th and after only four laps.

This was my sentiment going into Bahrain so I missed the Mercedes battle, so I will probably watch the F1 Parade of Spain just in case a race breaks out.

Hamilton's long run pace yesterday was ridiculous, so Rosberg will be looking to pull something out of the bag.

I expected Red Bull to close the gap a bit this weekend, wonder what Vettel can do.

I don't know what happened to Raikkonen today. He's dropped a second since fp2 and finished 14th. It seemed like he was getting back on form yesterday
