Yeah, imagine tuning into something that made you fall asleep every time? It is almost as if people are dramatising for effect. When something bores me consistently I don't watch. There were a few times in the latter stages of the V8 era when I stuck to the highlights. |

7. Ponied up for Bernie's Android app, and very good it was too despite all the poor reviews from the start of the season.
Having that available with all the live timing whistles and bells made the race far more interesting than TV coverage made it appear. |

That's the answer for all those people who claim to fall asleep during the race. Use Bernie's app and it will keep you busy and entertained during those dull, processional moments, until the last few laps when the race finally comes alive. There are Lite and Premium versions and it's available for iOS.

Notwithstanding the above comment, I got half way through it and did indeed fall asleep.
All this ******** about the cars sliding is missing the point. They're sliding in relatively low speeds under acceleration not drifting like the old cars could at top speed (see Ronnie P at any race you care to name). Totally different thing IMO. So, no it isn't formula 1 and it's not particularly exciting. |

I gave it 3 out of 10. I'm a Lewis Hamilton fan and even I found it incredibly boring and I am glad I recorded and watched delayed as I would have been even more dismayed having wasted a Sunday afternoon.
When a fan is praying for a rival to catch his favourite driver and demonstrate some racing, we know something is wrong. |

5 for me. i do very much appreciate how we are seeing the different tire strategies essentially lead to the similar results. imo this is what Pirelli have been promising and are now delivering on so credit there.
also i pretty much fall asleep every time i watch tv for an extended period of time. i watch from the most comfortable seat in the house, have my snacks, and a drink (alcoholic depending on the time)...not falling asleep while watching TV is a strange concept to me! |

I was there. The atmosphere was good but the race was pretty poor apart from the final few laps.

I rated it a five, not that I think that that's a terrible score, but mathematically average. It didn't capture the imagination for me, but I enjoyed it. Generally, Barcelona doesn't produce a great race.
