I would have thought the car was bought with spares from WSR and any future parts needed will be at Boardley's expense not HARD's.

To the poster who suggested Carl may take his car elsewhere before seasons end: it's Tonys TBL. Carls car. Carl doesn't have a TBL and therefore can't go elsewhere unless another car is retired. Tony on the other hand has four CCs, one per TBL. AFAIK Carl and Tony have a good relationship, so this is academic.
Unless WSR took the 1 series back in PX against a 3 series knowing it had a buyer for the 1.....Jelly has been super quiet ....just saying

well im yet to see or hear anything that backed up the idea Tony Gilham had bought the TBL and car, in fact the Hamilton press release pretty much rejects that notion

Anything is possible I suppose! Jelley and Parker are very quiet and go about their business in a manner that's the polar opposite of many.

The only definite is that Carl got the 1 from WSR. But as you say, it could have been a car and cash deal from Parker for a 3. Drive by shooting past Parkers workshop needed me thinks! (Or wait for media day)

They didn't. The car that Boardley has is the ex-Collard car NOT the one Jelley has been using.

they are polar opposite of Dynamics

Why TG would even want a 5th car in his arsenal is hard enough to believe.

The CC's are good for this year and next, before replacement ready for the hybrid era.

They don't build new cars every year like Dynamics do and try to get as much use out of their cars as possible. I wouldn't say that they have a poor reputation.

Why is not building customer cars a poor reputation?

Aside from TD, how many other btcc teams also supply cars on a regular basis?

Little interest in customer cars = poor reputation?

That's a bit harsh.

Team Dynamics don't build new cars every year though either

Of the 8 FK2 civics about all but 3 of them were built in 2012, the others 2011,2015 and 2017

although they have built new FK8 every year since 2018

The hybrid gubbins will be retrofitted into the existing NGTC subframes, with probably just the battery going in the passenger footwell

What I meant was that the CCs will by then be too old and will have to be replaced

won't the 1 series have to go as well as they are the same age, or did the facelift reset the end of life countdown clock?

It goes from when it was last on sale as far as I'm aware. So it'll be available until 2024 I think.

Think HARD were off to Spain as well, assume it would be at the same time. Motorbase usually go, but obviously not this year with the cars still being built.

Think the Hyundai was due to be shown off at the end of Feb as well, so hopefully we'll see that soon!

Well I think that puts an end to any notion of him being the final Motorbase driver.
