5 Legends and some very nice cars all under the same roof
G'day All
I just returned from the taping of V8 Extra for the Bathurst 50th special. What a great night Mr Crompton did a great job of introducing and interviewing some of the greats including Mr Moffat, Mr Perkins, Mr Lowndes, Mr Skaife and Mr Murphy . Apparently all had more than 4 wins a piece. To make the night better I got to stand right beside (literally was able to touch) the 1977 #1 XC. Ture Blue 17 was there as was an 05 A9x and one of the #1 God Zilla's. There were Supercars there as well a 888 and Murph / Kelly Bathurst winning car!! Was made in an abandoned warehouse so should look pretty good when put together. Highlight of the night was Allan Moffat entertaining the crowd with stories while the crew worked on a few tech issues. All even stayed to answer crowd questions for about 20 mins at the end!!! Was a pretty good night will post some really poor quality photo's when I can get them back out of the Blackberry!!! |

Sounds like a night to remember. Lucky you!
Has it been indicated at all when this Bathurst special will be aired? Im guessing somewhere around Bathurst-probably in the lead up. |
