The contact with the BMW was not the Mustang Sampling as identified on TV. It was the 77 Mazda. It's missing part of the left hand rear wind endplate. Watch for that coming apart later.

I thought it was a mazda too. I thought to myself "of course it's a Mazda...."

Jinx, but an hour of green flag running in this weather, with everyone at full adrenaline for a start, is a good job. Some interesting gaps and standings that will be fun to follow if they stay green for a long period.

Gtlm still in overall battle somewhat.

Yeah, I just would have thought he would be a bigger liability in relation to the field in these conditions than in normal conditions or improved conditions later on. I guess it is reasonable to have expected more yellow during this period though.

I had to check the timing, but amazingly it is CORES first stop of the entire race. Did 90 minutes on a tank. Should get around 40-45 minutes. 40 minutes were under yellow. So Jon made some good fuel mileage lol.
