Crash Test should be qualifying in the top 5 on the gridCrash Test should be qualifying in the top 5 on the grid
1. HRT. Even if they fail once in a while, it is becoming soooo predictable... Is this turning into another Godzila type thing like 1992 where the fans get turned off??

2. FTR. For a factory backed team they are putting in a fairly **** poor effort. Yes they have had some misfortune, but still they are at the wrong end of the scoreboard...

A few more things:

3. Dick Johnson. Yay or nay on his commentary efforts. Biased or better than Bazza??

4. Colourscan. Would you be ****ed off if you trekked a few thousand miles from one side of the country to the other and not get a drive?? Its a good thing in one way that there are too many cars, but they arent going to stick around if they get that sort of treatment...

5. Lognhurt's paint. Yay or nay.

6. Paul Morris. What do we think? Rub him out, fine him, or let Crompton have 5 minutes with a baseball bat and his car?

ok here go's

1. HRT ..yes it is getting predictable but they are not doing anything wrong..its just that their doing it better..maybe a weight penalty will be introduced but im not sure if thats a good idea.

2.whats up with FTR...good cars good drivers good budget..I dunno but they need to improve

3.while im not a big fan of DJ..i thought he did an excellent job of commentry..except for the bias toward the shell team but thats fair enough I guess...totally applauded him when he slammed Longhurst for his stupid move on Paul Weel..as none of the other commentators wanted to touch the issue...on that what a jerk tony is for driving like that..there was alot of dirty stuff going on out there and I found myself shaking my fist at the TV...just carnt wait for someone to do that to me because I wouldnt have it and they would be off the track before they knew it...DJ is better than Barry..so maybe barry should stick to the bikes ..because I dont watch tens coverage of bikes anyway..fox sports is better and LIVE

4.dont know what happened here..all I know is Matthew Coleman was replacing Danny Osborne..but wasnt on the grid...Crash Test maybe you could explain what happened for us???

5.still deciding on Longhursts paint...at first I loved it but now im not so sure..

6.while i like morris i think the system needs to be worked out better..his efforts at the GP did need to be punished but he has got off scott free..I think getting sat out for a meet is a good punishment...and I would like to see Crompton with a baseball bat ..but I think he would try to knock Pauls lovely little hat off rather than attack his car

Well Matt Coleman has stepped into the Colousrscan car since Danny Osbourne has never fully recovered from the injuries he received in the SA 500 last last year. (there is another one where this time clowndes got off easily.)To put it simply, 32 car grid, 35 cars turned up, and Matt wasn't in the top 32. They can only blame themselves, but i would be mighty ****ed off if i travelled that far from Brisbane to Perth and not get a start. Sure they get appearance money, but they still would have a big loss to deal with. A less dedicated team might throw in the towl after that sort of experience..

1. Yes it is getting a little predictable. But I wouldn't say it was like 1992, cos I really liked that when the Nissan was winning.

2. Who knows what has gone wrong at FTR, but while the race results aren't really there, Seton is not exactly a long way behind in the points.

3. Better than Barry. I like Barry as an interviewer, especially of the bikers, but he is not a commentator. And neither is Daryl Beattie while I'm at it. Bias towards Dick's own team is only to be expected.

4. They knew that 3 people would not start before they got there.

5. Totally an ugly colour. I spent the GP not taking photos of it on purpose, and I will do the same at Eastern Creek and Oran Park.

6. Morris got away with no penalty, which is wrong. But at the same time, he did follow the judicial system as it is in place at the moment so nothing can really be done until the system changes.

1. As Holden and HRT in particular have marginalised the fan base towards them (remember Bathurst 98?) the fans won't be turned of in large number, just the ever fewer Ford fans.

2. FTR are not a factory team. It's Glenn Seton Racing with more money from Ford and two Tickford engineers working with the team, a long way from the involvement level of HRT. They sucked at Barbagallo I imagine because of the effort they had to put in to repair Cromptons car. They were allright at Phillip Island, just need to qualify better so they can get clear of the upper midfield bashing that goes on.

3. Dick was pretty good I thought. Opinionated, in a good way, and more 'professional' than when he was commentating from inside the car. Big tick for his remarks on Longhurst.

4. It's a big shame for sure, but a bigger shame perhaps for Peter Doulman who was closer to the pace than Matty Coleman was. The Gatorade boys always put in a big effort and even when things went to pieces at Bathurst last year everyone in the team refused to be down about it. A terrific example of positive attitude. And it was 34 cars because Alan Heath didn't turn up. Again (he was supposed to be at Eastern Creek to)

5. Big nay. I especially love how the colour of the car doesn't match the transporter or the team shirts.

6. Rub him out, then bring in Cromley with the bat. you could hold this Friday night at the next round. Place car inside a square ring, then to a thumping soundtrack Cromley walks purposefully towards the car, bat in hand. Suddenly as Cromley goes to work on the car Morris comes running down the ramp to tackle Cromley. Then Seto runs down to help Cromley, followed by Morris' ex-HRT teamates Skaife, Lowndes & McConville. Then Brad Jones jumps in the get back for years of Super touring abuse..... GET READY TO RUUUUUUUUMBLE!

Even though I'm a Holden fan and looked upon ol' DJ as a memisis as a driver I thought he did a great job in the commentary box, you could not ask for a better commentator than someone that has been driving these cars probably since they were steam powered hehe...

I tell you what though, get him and Barry in the box together and Australia would have it's own Murray Walker/Martin Brundle style combo !
