Get well soon Luc, I hope it isn't too bad and that we see him in a GT car again.

What about bringing in a few P&M guys? Beretta and Gavin have raced with them before.

Best wishes to Luc for a speedy recovery. It is encouraging that initial reports are suggesting no neurological issues.

I had a friend do the same thing while snowboarding. Fractured a couple vertebrae, but lost no function and had no nerve damage. He made a full recovery, but was bed ridden for a couple of months. Coincidentally, I shattered my collar bone the same day on those slopes. Either the mountain had it out for us or we both suck at snowboarding.

Hopefully Luc makes a full and speedy recovery and hopefully it doesn't hinder the race team too much.

Darn! That's what you get with these twowheelers! Unsound things they are,I say!

Hope you recover fully Luc. You're one of the great assets of GT racing.

Its bad enough that one of their race cars is a write-off after Le Mans, now this? What a month....

DSC reports that the operation went well and Luc will stay up to 10 more days in the hospital before continuing the recovery at home.

Luc Alphand's team has 1 C6.R in FIA GT and if they only enter 1, they shouldn't have problems finding drivers if the LMS guys join in as they have at least 5 drivers that raced at LM plus new arrival Thomas Biagi.

was down at tertre rouge when they crashed, was a massive hit.

LAA is one of the teams that I always look forward to seeing, hope Luc is back on track soon.

Well....I guess there won't be a GT1 champion this year. After Reiter withdrew due to no sponsor money, LAA was the last car in the category that ran all the races.

Can anyone confirm if their car crashed at Le Mans was indeed a write-off?

I saw in an interview with Patrice Gouselard shortly after LM that the car had to be sent back to the states to Pratt and Miller for repair, it was translated from EI so whether it means repairable or gone is your guess rather then mine.

If i remember correctly the engine ended up about 2ft further back than it should have been.

Will this lead them to cut back on their FIA-GT or FFSA-GT plans? It seems they were using one car for each before this unfortunate event.
