As far as I understand, Loeb's retirement is pretty much off the table again.

Wasn't the exact same rumour spread around last year at pretty much the same time? And it turned to be pretty much utter b*ll*cks. Only difference is that last year it also had the name of David Coulthard thrown around as well.
Also, I'm sure I read a quote from Quesnel some time last year which indicated that the plan for 2011 in terms of drivers is to stick to the same 9 drivers as in 2010. One thing's for sure, Anthony Davidson is definitely staying with the team, his on-stage appearance at the Autosport Show is definite proof of that. |

Anyway, looks like a 90X in ILMC for Team ORECA too according to Mariantic http://www.mariantic.co.uk/lmp/2011.asp |

A very logical assumption because the LMP1 coupe project of ORECA was cancelled.

Yeah absolutely a logical one. You'd have bet your house on some kind of tie-up for 2011. Drivers have been announced. I suppose it figures that any Peugeot privateer announcement should come AFTER the works stuff.

This also give Brabham an opportunity, as Peugeot will be able to make new driver line ups (as there is a free seat in the Red Bull 908) |

It was the exact same rumour last year with the addition of David Coulthard to those two. Frankly, I'll be astonished if there's any change of drivers in the factory team. Both Audi and Peugeot looked last year to have hit the sweet spot in terms of driver trios, all of them fast and able to match their team-mates. And since the guys down the road at Ingolstadt didn't make any changes, I would expect that there isn't going to be any change here either.
Feb 4th... all should be revealed. |

That should settle some odd questions from here. Can't wait.

Me neither, I´m pretty excited. Wouldn't be surprised if the car looks a lot different to what Peugeot has shown us so far.

A new livery would be nice Peugeot please. Or just something to tell the three cars apart would be cool.

What number do we anticipate being assigned to the 90X when all is revealed on Thursday? It should be 911, but.........

it may still be 908 - the recent 908 wasn't the first LM car to carry that number.

My bet is also 909 or 9008/9.
Peugeot won't go into the 9XX numbers, but keep their trademark "x0x". |

What if it's just 90X, I hope not, I hope it's 912HY. 911 is Porsche, but 912 sounds good. 910 would be ok too, but 912 sounds good, or maybe that'll be their next car.
